Burl Table Lamp

I recently attended the funeral of my grandfather. Afterwards, we were clearing out some storage with my grandmother and came across this burl wood. My grandfather had found it decades ago, envisioning making it into a lamp — but never had the opportunity to complete the project.

With a mix of nostalgia and a desire to honor his memory, I brought the wood home and crafted a lamp with the wood as he had imagined so many years ago.
